“Please sir, I want some more.” Oliver’s innocent request lands him in big trouble with the workhouse Matron and the Beadle.  It sets him off on his famous adventure. He is sold to a local undertaker, but runs away and is picked up by the Artful Dodger, a gang of pick pockets, who invites Oliver to ‘Consider Yourself’ one of us! Oliver is arrested and taken before the magistrate. When he finds Oliver was an innocent bystander, Mr Brownlow, the victim of the gang and who by a million to one chance happens to be his Grandfather, takes Oliver in. Fagin sets out to rebuild his gang with the Dodger. ‘Food glorious Food’ and ‘Where is Love’ are just two of the popular songs from Lionel Bart’s lively musical based on Charles Dicken’s Oliver Twist.
