 Abby and Martha Brewster seem like charming and innocent old ladies, until we learn their eccentricity, secretly “populating their cellar with the remains of socially and religiously ‘acceptable’ roomers.”   The antics of their brother who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt help keep the audience laughing and the return of Jonathan, driven from the house due to his dark side, adds many humorous and suspenseful twists.
